Yesterday I got really lucky. Sarah and I decided to make a DI run beacause it had been awhile. I found a PS2 there marked $10. I figured it would probably have something wrong with it and could sell it for parts on ebay and maybe get $50 out of it. It didn’t come with any controllers or the AV cables, so we went and bought those for $10 each at Wal-mart so in case it didn’t work I could return them and get my money back. Anyway we got home plugged everything in and it booted up just like it should. I tried playing a movie and it played flawlessly. I just need to get a game to try, but I figured around $30 total for a Playstation 2 isn’t a bad deal at all.

Today a new version of Skype for Windows was released. I have yet to try it myself, but I read it add SMS capability and some GUI improvements. Skype offers free computer to computer telephone call and until the end of the year free calls to land lines in the U.S. and Canada. Get it at http://www.skype.com
