iPod Restoration Project

I was able to trade my 4G iPod for a 5G video iPod thanks to my nephew Darin. The only problem was the 5G was scuffed and scratched pretty bad. After some reading I found this post about a Brasso fix It was under $3 at Wal-mart to buy Brasso, so I figured why not. Needless to say the iPod looks a whole lot better than before. Some of the scratches are still there and I will try a couple of more times and see if I can make them look better, but the iPod is a lot more shiny than it was before. I would recommend this to anyone with a scratched or scuffed up iPod.

In addition to winning eight Academy Awards, the “Star Wars” movies set new standards for sophistication in film visuals and sound, and revolutionized the toy industry at the same time. The first “Star Wars” film inspired Kenner Products’ creation of the 3-3/4-inch action figure scale, which remains an industry standard today. Designed, manufactured and marketed by Hasbro, Inc. since its purchase of Kenner in 1991, “Star Wars” toys and games are one of the best-selling toy lines in the industry’s history.”Click Here for more

Millennium Falcon Arrived!

My vintage Falcon came yesterday. It needed a lot of work, but it is now in displayable shape. The main body had some kind of gunk on it that came off with a wet cloth. The glue on the stickers dried up, so I used some spray adhesive and restuck them. I am still working on cleaning up the battery contacts to see if the elecronics will work. I have some before and after pictures at http://www.kemple.us/falcon The pics on the left are before and the pics on the right are after.
