Star Wars Collection

Today I received the last vintage Star Wars figure I needed to copmlete my collection almost. There is still one figure that was exclusive to a Sears Playset and was a messup by the manufacturer and another that was only released in Europe and Austrailia, but they run around $130.00 and up a piece, so it will be awhile before I can afford those. In the meantime I have some pics I took of my collection posted at http://threads.rebelscum.com/photogallery/showgallery.php?cat=598 and as always you can see my website at http://kemple.servepics.com/starwars

Memory Lane

I was searching around in google groups today and found a post I made back in 1998. Computers sure have changed since then. I had a k6 CPU overclocked to 233 MHZ and 64 MB of RAM and a 3D card in addition to my regular graphics card. Those interested can read my post at http://groups.google.com/group/3dfx.oem.products.canopus.pure3d/browse_thread/thread/e30b580586beca79/e7618641feb32857?lnk=st&q=shawn+kemple&rnum=3#e7618641feb32857 I was still as geeky as ever even back then.

Semester is almost over

I almost had a heart attack last night when I found out all we have left is one more week of school and then finals. I thought there was another week in there somewhere. Looks like this weekend will be spent getting the rest of my assignments finished. I’m looking forward to the long needed summer break.

XP Booting on my Macbook Pro

I just finished installing XP on my Macbook Pro and didn’t run into any problems at all. I have a video I made showing XP Booting and then showing how easy it is to switch back to OS X. The video is here xpmac.wmv It is 10MB so it will take a few minutes to download. Just be patient.

Apple supports dual booting

Today Apple released Boot Camp. This program allows you to install Windows XP on your Intel Mac without having to erase your hard drive and reinstall both OSes and it will be a feature included in their next OS 10.5 Leopard.http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/
